He is one of the foremost Buddhist thinkers of the world and the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Peace. He is not only the spiritual leader of the displaced Tibetan people but also people all over the world.

พระองค์เป็นนักคิดชาวพุทธคนหนึ่งซึ่งได้รับรางวัลสันติภาพ Nobel Prize. พระองค์ไม่ใช่เป็นแค่ผู้นำฝ่ายจิตวิญญาณของชาวธิเบตพลัดถิ่นเท่านั้นแต่เป็นผู้นำด้านจิตวิญญาณแก่คนทั่วทั้งโลกอีกด้วย

According to his website, the Dalai Lama has three main commitments: the promotion of human values, religious harmony and understanding, and the preservation of the Tibetan Buddhist culture of peace and non-violence. 

ตามที่เขียนไว้ใน Website ของพระองค์ ท่านมีภารกิจรับผิดชอบที่จะต้องทำสามประการด้วยกันคือ ส่งเสริมคุณค่าของมนุษย์ การอยู่ร่วมกันของคนในศาสนาและเข้าใจกัน พร้อมทั้งดำรงรักไว้ซึ่งประเพณีชาวพุทธธิเบตอันเป็นวัฒนธรรมสันติภาพและไม่ใช้ความรุนแรง

He has extensive philanthropic ties to various foundations, nonprofits, and philanthropic individuals, and his teaching focused on compassion through education, which leads us to challenge our convictions and take action to help others. พระองค์ได้ขยายความผูกพันด้านการกุศลกับมูลนิธิ องค์กรไม่แสวงหากำไรหลายแห่ง พร้อมติดต่อกับผู้ใจบุญเป็นรายบุคคล คำสอนของพระองค์เน้นไปทางด้านเมตตาโดยผ่านด้านการศึกษาซึ่งนำเราไปสู่การท้าทายที่จะตัดสินใจลงมือทำการเพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้อื่น

It is difficult for the Dalai Lama to visit Thailand for political reasons, but we always welcome his representatives for the establishment a branch of the Tushita Meditation Center there so that Thai people can take part. ไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายนักที่องค์ดาไลลามะจะมาเยือนประเทศไทยเพราะด้วยเหตุผลทางการเมือง แต่ตัวแทนของพระองค์จะได้รับการต้อนรับเสมอเพื่อสร้างสาขาของศูนย์ฝึกสมาธิ Tushita Meditation Center ในประเทศนี้เพื่อคนไทยจะได้ร่วมในการฝึกสมาธิ
